Get to Know ITB FSRD at ITB Open House 2023
Institut Teknologi Bandung hosted an Open House Event, taking place from December 1 to December 3, 2023 at Sasana Budaya Ganesha (SABUGA), Bandung. This event provided a unique opportunity for visitors to know more about FSRD ITB up close. Enthusiastic visitors engaged in a range of activities spread across various locations, including Sabuga ITB, CAD and CADL Building at Ganesa Campus, and the Jatinangor Campus.
The event featured a diverse lineup of events, including offline and online consultation, work exhibitions, talk shows, faculty introductions, paper art workshops, and campus tours. These activities aimed to give visitors a comprehensive understanding of what FSRD ITB has to offer.
Talk show and faculty introduction at the Dream Stage Sabuga ITB became the highlight of this event. The event featured some speakers such as Dr. Nurdian Ichsan, S.Sn., M.Sn., FSRD ITB Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and lecturer from FSRD ITB Visual Art, Adi Panuntun, S.Ds, M.A., practitioner and alumnus of DKV FSRD ITB, Mutiara Ayu Larasati S. Ds. M. Ds., Interior Design lecturer at FSRD ITB, and Prananda Luffiansyah, Ph.D., FSRD ITB Product Design lecturer. The session was moderated by Sabrina Ilma Sakina, S.Ds, M.Ds., lecturer from FSRD ITB Crafts .
On Sunday, December 3, 2023, Zusfa Roihan, M.Sn., FSRD ITB Visual Art lecturer, conducted a paper art workshop focusing on sustainability and recycling. Participants learned art techniques and basic aesthetics, providing a hands-on experience for beginners.
The event also included a campus tour, allowing participants to explore FSRD ITB’s studios and laboratories, including the Graphic Studio, Craft Ceramics and Art Ceramics Studio, FSRD ITB Color Laboratory, and FSRD ITB NVD DKV Laboratory at the ITB Jatinangor Campus.
Dr. Nurdian Ichsan, FSRD ITB Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, expressed his hope that the event would offer valuable insights for teachers, parents, and prospective students considering FSRD ITB for their educational journey.
