This workshop brought together art and design students from Indonesia and Japan to explore how culinary culture can inspire design.

Through shared cooking, tasting, and cross-cultural dialogue, participants discovered how everyday dining practices reflect deeper cultural values.

These experiences became a trigger for creative exploration, leading to design proposals that ranged from dining spaces and utensils to services and experiences-each reflecting an intercultural interpretation of food, space, and human connection.
